World Alzheimer’s Month 2023: ‘Never Too Early, Never Too Late’
Posted on: 1/09/2023September is World Alzheimer's Month which aims to raise awareness and challenge the stigma that surrounds dementia.
This year’s theme, ‘Never too early, never too late’, will centre around the risk factors as well as risk reduction. The campaign aims to highlight the importance of identifying risk factors and a proactive approach to implementing risk reducing measure which can delay, and in some cases even prevent, the onset of dementia. This also includes ongoing risk reduction for those who have already received a diagnosis.
